The Listening Space with Carrie
Planned time — no agenda, no worksheets, no metrics.
The Listening Space provides a confidential environment to pause, reflect, and express oneself freely without judgment.
Rooted in compassionate presence and spiritual care, this space offers support to nurses and caregivers who are dealing with stress, grief, moral distress, transition, or uncertainty through deep listening and human connection. It does not serve as counseling, psychotherapy, or crisis intervention.
One person. One hour. Nothing on the agenda except what you need to say.
This is not therapy, coaching, or clinical intervention. There are no intake forms, diagnoses, treatment plans, or expectations that you need to be fixed, managed, or optimized here.
Occupational depletion, grief, moral distress, and exhaustion are not treated as personal failures within this space. We recognize that many of these experiences emerge within systems that ask caregivers to carry more than any one person was meant to hold alone.
The Listening Space is grounded in the belief that wisdom, insight, and meaning already reside within each person. Sometimes what is needed is not advice or correction, but a compassionate witness — someone willing to sit alongside you as clarity, reflection, healing, or possibility begin to emerge.
Carrie holds the space. You bring whatever is present.
This is a place set apart from the demands of care work — a space to pause, reflect, and be witnessed without being managed, corrected, or fixed.
